Like so bad that I don't want to give these faux racer brahs the satisfaction of taking pictures of their offensively bad (sounding and looking) vehicles because they might mistake my intentions and think I'm impressed. So no sr20. It's for the best, I just saved you all from the vehicular equivalent of ebola. Long Islanders, why you do this, it's even worse than I remember from high school. Local Opponauts, congrats on dodging the rampant Monster/NOS stickers.

Also, this is the second day in a row of shopping with my mom and sister, send help. I must've been sitting on this bench outside a Victoria's Secret outlet for an hour having successfully tried things on and made my purchase within 15 minutes of walking in. Still waiting on mom and watching these silly cars go by. Any day now.

Not just shopping, but outlet shopping?

You have my sympathies.

Thanks :) I also had a nasty headache pop up on the drive over, so I'm really not enjoying being in public at all, let alone with hoards of loud New Yorkers and their spawn.

I often wonder if drivers of tastelessly modified cars mistake our looks of derision for admiration. It may explain why they think they're cool.

Two words, LONG ISLAND.
Seriously it's much better in the real part of New York.

How could you leave this wonderful place of Upstate NY?

Well, there was this wonderful thing called college at UM, which was even more fun than living with my parents in NY, believe it or not ;) then I got a job in LA, then moved back to Michigan. I do enjoy living in Michigan, and gotta get that $weet auto indu$try dollar$$ yo.

And as for my mom, she thinks she's cool living in the Hamptons and driving a Mercedes. Not my thing but whatever.

See if you leave because of a job or something it's understandable, but if you leave to be "cool" and what not then you are a traitor.
From the times I've been in Michigan it does remind me of Upstate quite a bit, really a beautiful place. Same goes for lots of places on the Lakes.
